Remove Unwanted Hair

by Hair Exterminator

Many people have unwanted hair. They will do just about anything to remove it. Here are some ways this is done.

The techniques include: razors, wax, tweezers, lotions, electrolysis, and lasers. Some of these methods are down right primitive. Then we also have some space age stuff.

Shaving is an old classic. Women shave their legs as often as every day. This is what people want to get away from.

Waxing involves spreading a thin wax over the hair to be removed. Paper or cloth is pressed onto the wax and then quickly ripped of, against the direction of the growing hair. This pulls out the hairs with the wax.

People are also willing to take tweezers and pull hairs out one by one. Hairs need to be long enough to be squeezed by the tweezers. Tedious, painful, and the hair grow back.

Lotions use substances that dissolve the hair all the way under the skin. These chemicals can be rough on your skin. You can develop skin rashes and cuts.

The most permanent method is electrolysis. Individual follicles are destroyed through this procedure. It can hurt quite a bit.

It is a long process to complete electrolysis on a small area, like the eyebrows. It might take over a year of treatments. The result will be long lasting if you can get through all the sessions.

Finally, the latest advancement is laser hair removal. Laser hair removal can claim permanent hair “reduction”. Although it isn’t as complete as electrolysis it has a few major advantages.

The treatments are very fast. You can do an entire back in under an hour. After a few sessions, you only need occasional touch ups.

For those who can afford it, laser hair removal is the trend. It satisfies our need for fast, easy results. This seems to be the future of high end hair removal options.
